I pretty much just hate knowing that the option exists and that I COULD always use it (even if I don't), not that someone else would use it. Day 2 there will be all sorts of cheats-engines on special websites, fine I don't care, but I don't wish the game leaves this choice open. If an developer is not interested that their game becomes played properly (and the difficulty curve is an integral part of the game) then why should I become interested? I have no problem with people cheating the game. You can say "but you don't have to use it" but that's not my point. If you really wanna collect everyone, this should be done by proper finetuned difficulty settings, not making everything relative by an single setting that allows you to make the game less of what it is. I hope that nothing the sorts of it is included. I can't stand that and many popular games like Tunic doing this lately (while still claiming to be hardcore games, which makes it even worse) However one thing that would be an instant "no-buy" for me would be an "invincibility mode" pretending it's for the sake of "accessbility" paternalising disabled people with an open cheat code. Yeah I agree I also favour a certain feel of challenge and more importantly an increasing difficulty curve (it can start easy but should ramp up appropriately)
